COURSE DESCRIPTION

New for 2013, this course was designed to enable new and experienced Advanced Funeral Planners to take a more proactive approach to lead generation. While focusing on key lead generation techniques such as referrals, community presentations, and continuing care, Advanced Funeral Planners will leave training with enhanced skills and confidence to consistently generate more leads.

COURSE CONTENT

  • Referrals
    • Uncover and overcome your reluctance to ask for referrals
    • Blend asking for referrals seamlessly and tastefully into your prearrangement conference
    • Turn referrals into appointments
  • Community Presentations
    • Booking and promoting speaking engagements with the “right” audience
    • Determine what to say – and how to say it
    • Create a call to action and a plan to obtain / follow up on contact information
  • Continuing Care
    • Bridge communication between the at-need staff and continuing care team
    • Conduct the continuing care visit
    • Set the advance planning presentation appointment, when the time is right
