Academy of Advance Funeral Planning Announces 2008 Training
Schedule
Franklin, OH. The nationally
acclaimed Academy of Advance Funeral Planning, located at The
Outlook Group, Inc., Franklin, Ohio announced their 2008 training
courses, dates and training locations. Since 1985, the Academy has
been offering world class training, educational and funeral
service solutions to the death care profession.
The academy
offers a variety of courses tailored to meet the unique educational
needs of today’s contemporary funeral director. Courses are
generally held at the high-tech Academy training center in Franklin,
Ohio. This controlled setting minimizes distractions and maximizes
the total learning experience. Instructors are all experienced
funeral, sales and marketing professionals and coaches who have a
successful track record working with business professionals and
consumers. Courses are interactive, hands on, and feature
individualized break-out sessions. Advanced level courses provide
skill building opportunities that will enhance professional practice
and increase productivity. All courses are taught at The Academy of
Advance Funeral Planning Training Center in Franklin, Ohio unless
otherwise noted.
According to Ms. Candace Franco, Coordinator, Academy of Advance
Funeral Planning located at The Outlook Group, Inc., “The reality of
our first year, offering our training courses to the funeral service
profession at large, far exceeded our expectations and we are eager
to get started on 2008.” She went on to add, “Two things make all
our training courses stand out. First, there are “NO Strings
Attached.” We provide education for education sake - just to help
people get better at what they do. Our training isn’t a
prelude to “selling” anything. Second, all our courses are
rejuvenated for today’s modern consumer. Most of the course content
that other educational providers teach, regarding funeral service
enhancement education, is based on training and education models
designed 20 or more years ago. Maybe that was fine then … but today
we are serving a new and significantly more savvy generation … it’s
time to adjust and provide training based on the distinctive wants
and needs of today’s Silent and Baby Boomer generations. Our
training processes focus on good questioning and listening skills …
it’s training with integrity and ethics for the benefit of the
consumer, the community at large and the funeral home.”
