brief review of each team member's credentials, experience, skills and overall
qualifications are important to judging the validity of their knowledge of the
funeral industry and the feasibility of all proposed sales, marketing, product
and training plans.
Founder,
Chief Executive Officer & President is
Mr. Charles W. Anderson of Springboro, Ohio. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Transylvania
University, Lexington, Kentucky. His
formal funeral service education began at a young age, growing up above the
family funeral home and assisting whenever and wherever called upon.
Charles is an honor graduate of the Cincinnati College of Mortuary
Science. He has attended,
coordinated and lead many Sales & Management Seminars and Workshops over the
course of his tenured distinguished career.
Charles is owner of Anderson Funeral Homes, Franklin and Springboro, Ohio. He has received many funeral
industry awards and accolades for team leadership, innovation, personal and
management success and achievement. He
additionally is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Ohio and Kentucky
and holds an Ohio Life Insurance license. He
serves his community through involvement as a Board of Trustee of the Abilities
First Foundation; Former President, Hospice of Middletown, Ohio Advisory Board;
Past President, Rotary Club; Former School Board Member and President,
Springboro City Schools. He serves on the
Alumni Board for Transylvania University, Lexington, Kentucky.
Vice President
of Marketing is Mr. Christopher Kuhnen, CPC, of Edgewood, Kentucky.
Chris is a graduate of Kent State University and a Kentucky licensed Funeral Director
and Life
Insurance agent; member in good standing, Funeral Directors Association of
Kentucky; Kentucky Colonel; and a certified Marketing Specialist as bestowed by
the National Marketing Academy. Chris joined The Outlook Group, Inc. in January
1994. He is directly responsible for planning, development, creation and
implementation of all marketing, advertising, lead generation, public and media
relations, and continuing education programming.
Chris lends meaningful guidance to the company management team in its
expansion, training and long-range planning efforts.
He additionally provides comprehensive consultation and marketing support
to funeral directors nationwide to help them coordinate and develop their
advertising, marketing, image and public relations strategies. He has developed
& conducted a myriad of marketing, advance funeral planning lead generation
and pre-need management continuing education seminars and workshops. Continuing
education appearances include: North Dakota, International Order of the Golden Rule, Astral
Industries, Homesteaders Life Company, Tennessee Funeral Directors Association,
Ohio Funeral Directors Association, Indiana Funeral Directors Association, Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky,
Georgia Independent Funeral Directors Association, North Carolina Funeral
Directors Association and
the National Funeral Directors Association. Chris has
authored countless articles in major funeral industry publications.
Vice President of Sales is Mr. John T.
Feher of Hinckley, Ohio.
He holds an Ohio Funeral Director and Embalmer license and Ohio Life
Insurance license. John attended
Cleveland State University and received a B.A. Degree from the Cincinnati
College of Mortuary Science. In March
2003, Money Magazine highlighted John and his wife’s experience as investors.
John joined The
Outlook Group, Inc. in April 1997. During his tenure with the company, John has
been the recipient of many national advance funeral planning sales achievement
awards for outstanding service.
Additionally, John has planned and conducted numerous company-wide sales seminars,
which include a three day event full of guest speakers, motivational themes,
team building activities and award ceremonies.
Advantage Program Director is Mr. Christian
T. Chambers, CPC, of Columbus, Ohio. Christian holds an Ohio Funeral Director
and Embalmer license and Ohio Life Insurance license.
Christian attended Ohio University and received a B.A. degree from the
Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Since entering the funeral profession in
1982, he has served numerous central Ohio funeral homes in the capacity of
funeral director/embalmer and Advance Funeral Planning Professional.
Christian joined The Outlook Group, Inc. in January 1992.
During his tenure with the company he has been the recipient of many
national advance funeral planning sales achievement awards for outstanding
service and dedication to consumers and his profession.
Mentor
Program Director is Ms. Beverly Keen of Franklin, Ohio.
Beverly
has twenty years experience in funeral service. She began her career with
Anderson Funeral Homes in an Office Manager position and has been an Advance
Funeral Professional for the last eight years. Beverly attended the Academy of
Advance Funeral Planning at the Outlook Group in 1999. She has received
national sales awards for personal production each of those eight years. In
2006, she was recognized as a million-dollar producer in annual sales volume.
Beverly continues to personally produce as well as mentoring and coaching other
Advance Funeral Professionals to continue their success in production. She is
currently mentoring in the state of Michigan and Ohio. In 2007, Beverly was
appointed Senior Mentor for The Outlook Group. This program is designed to
support and coach Advance Funeral Planners to increase their personal
production. She also directs and supports the team of mentors The Outlook Group
has trained and educated to coach in the field.
